Çeşme

A long day to get here. Started off with half an hour scrubbing thick black mud from the anchor chain as it came up, so sun was up by the time we set out. Motored half the day but had 25kn behind us to finish off, so scooted home to the municipal Çeşme marina. They have a clever trick to make you stay longer. If you stay only one night (as we had planned) you pay a 'tax' of $75, so it's actually cheaper to stay two nights than one.

  1. Oh! what a time you have had since Bademli!Especially your story teller, What a family life and his too.
It was Tom's birthday on Saturday, and he told us that those two whales we have had in the Derwent were still playing along the beach at Taroona High school a couple of days ago!

  2. Hey! we just looked at this site again, and found all these beaut pictures. This port looks much more opulent than others you have shown recently! By the look of those huge iron bollards on the promenade pretty large vessels must tie up from time to time.Love the picture of Sabine framed by the bronze humming bird sculpture. How about that pink motor tricycle, something unusual too. Spectacular buildings around the marina area aren't they.I note that you have a mains powered site so you will be able to re-vitalize all of the battery set so the internet will be available soon.Love from Us
